Stryper Saint Louis Concert reviews
What a beautiful voice
"We are long fans of Stryper, so we felt lucky to see him live and we enjoyed it, even tho we didn't know anything off his new album. He still sang fabulously. The crowds started thinning out halfway thru his show sadly. I know when an artist tours for their new album, it is the primary focus, but they usually sprinkle a few older gems in here and there. Not the case here. Show was supposed to start at 8, but it was more like 9. He opened with 3-4 of his older songs, but everything from there on was off his new album. The venue in which he played would not have been my choice. There was also a lot of talking amongst the crowd. Made it hard to hear him talking and some of his acoustic stuff. He needs a small intimate venue with seating. South Side Ballroom was 95% standing room only. His music isn't dance music, it's chill music, but hard to do that when you're standing shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of other folks, and dodging people who are trying to get to the bar for a drink. So personally, I'm glad the crowds started to thin out. Our gain! The crowd was a vast mixture of ages."
